Lok Jan Shakthi Party will go it alone: Paswan
Special Correspondent
PATNA: Union Steel Minister and Lok Jan Shakti Party chief Ram Vilas Paswan said on Wednesday that his party would go it alone in the coming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections.
Speaking at a felicitation ceremony, where his brother and party MLA Pashupati Kumar Paras was formally elected the party’s State unit chief, Mr. Paswan said he had had enough of both the RJD and the NDA. The people too were fed up with them.
He said the people would now give the LJP an opportunity to take the State on the path to development sans casteism and communalism.
Mr. Paswan pointed out that he had quit the NDA government on the issue of Gujarat riots.
