Bangalore: The 11th sub-junior and 13th Challenger National senior rowing championship will commence at the Ulsoor Lake here on Thursday. The four-day event that will be held near the Trishna Club on the lake, will feature 14 teams and the last edition’s senior section champion Services will be represented by the Core Engineers Rowing Association (CERA). The teams: Karnataka, CERA, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Kerala, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Orissa, Assam, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab, Chandigarh and Jammu and Kashmir. — Principal Correspondent
