Arjun Yadav shines

HYDERABAD: N. Arjun Yadav’s double century (221) was the highlight of Andhra Bank’s thumping innings and 235-run win over M.P. Colts in the A-Division (three-day) league cricket championship here on Wednesday.

The scores: A-Division (three-day) league: M.P. Colts 171 and 63 (S.M. Shoaib four for 14) lost to Andhra Bank 469 for nine decl. (Abhinav Kumar 96, N. Arjun Yadav 221, Khader 41).

State Bank of Hyderabad 428 for nine decl. and six for two bt SCRSA 226 and 207 (Ashwin Yadav five for 40).

BDL 292 and 212 for seven decl. (Abhishek Ponia 84, Rushi Raj 81 n.o.) bt Ensconse 154 and 152 (Imran 50, Uttam Goud five for 28).
