VIJAYAWADA: Prem Sagar’s 108 put Nellore in a commanding position against Chittoor in the two-day Andhra Cricket Association’s South Zone under-19 inter-district tournament for the Giridhar Reddy memorial Trophy at Anantapur. Nellore was 190 for four in reply to Chittoor’s 96. In another match, Anantapur’s Kiran Kumar (six for 57) restricted Kadapa to 208. At stumps, the host was 119 for three. The scores: Chittoor 96 in 47.1 overs (Bhargav five for 27, Sufiyan three for 30) vs. Nellore 190 for four in 41 overs (Prem Sagar 108). Kadapa 208 in 53.4 overs (Pramod 40, Kiran Kumar six for 57) vs. Anantapur 119 for three in 34 overs (D.V. Prashanth 50). — Sports Reporter
