The Raj Bhavan march, taken out by the members of the High Court Bench Samara Sahaya Samithi on the Vellayambalam-Kowdiar stretch on Wednesday, demanding the setting up of a High Court Bench in the capital city might have posed hardships to motorists and pedestrians. But, for a few others the rally proved to be a blessing in disguise. With the police personnel barricading a significant stretch of the road and diverting traffic, the situation was more than what the production unit of the prime-time television serial could have bargained for — a day of unobtrusive shooting on one of the busiest stretches in the city. As they say, one man’s curse is another man’s blessing. Sangeeth Kurian
