Chandigarh: The Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University in Hisar will introduce a radio jockey course in its syllabus from July’s first week. Organised by the University Directorate of Distance Education in collaboration with World Development Foundation, the course will enable students to find employment in 2,000 community radio stations and private FM centres soon to be opened in the State. The course fee is Rs.5,000 and admissions will be conducted via a written test and interview. “Those who have passed their Class XII board examinations are eligible to appear in the test,” Director R.K. Malik said.
