IAF recruitment rally at Thanjavur

Krishnagiri: Indian Air Force will conduct a recruitment rally for Group Y and Group X posts at Annai Sathya Stadium in Thanjavur.

The selection for Group Y (non-technical trades) posts will be held on July 19 and for Group X (technical trades) on July 21.

Persons born between July 1, 1987 and September 30, 1991 are eligible.

Persons from all the districts in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry can attend the rally.

For Group Y, those who have passed Plus Two or equivalent examinations with science, arts or commerce subjects or three year diploma with minimum of 50 marks in aggregate and pass mark in each subject are eligible.

For Group X, persons who have passed Plus Two or equivalent examinations with mathematics and physics with a minimum of 50 percent of marks in overall aggregate are eligible.

Those with a three-year diploma in engineering (mechanical, electrical, electronics, automobile, computer science, instrumentation or information technology) with at least 50 per cent marks are also eligible.

Candidates should report to the venue of the rally before 6 a.m.

They should bring in original certificates, photocopies of the certificates, two blank white envelopes, seven copies of the passport size colour photographs and sports kit for physical fitness test (shorts and canvas shoes).
