Standard XI admissions suspended

PUDUCHERRY: The Puducherry government on Thursday decided to suspend the admission of students for Standard XI in government higher secondary schools, which was scheduled to commence on Friday.

Director of School Education G. Ragesh Chandra said in a release that the decision was necessitated by the High Court stay. The fresh schedule for counselling would be announced later, he added.
