HUBLI: The Judicial Magistrate First Class (First Court), Hubli, on Thursday permitted the Corps of Detectives (CoD) to take four of the terror suspects in its custody for further interrogation. The judge, A.V. Srinath, allowed the CoD officials to keep Mohammed Yasin, Mohammed Ansar, Manroz Zama and P.A. Shaduli (Accused No 14 to 17) in their custody till 5.30 p.m. of June 28 after they were produced in court on Thursday. CoD officials had brought the four accused from Indore prison in Madhya Pradesh. They were produced before court on Wednesday when they were remanded in judicial custody. RejectedThe First Additional District and Sessions Judge Bopaiah on Thursday rejected the bail applications of the four accused in a case in which the Karnataka Institute of Medical Sciences medical superintendent was shot at. The former director of KIMS, M.G. Hiremath, and Congress leaders, Vishwaprakash Ullagaddimath, Vijay Kulkarni and Bangaresh Hiremath, had moved the applications.
