Vijay, Pratima in lead

BANGALORE: Karnataka’s Vijay Punjabi and Pratima Hegde led the men’s and women’s categories respectively in the 20th National Tenpin bowling championship at Star City here on Thursday.

Vijay Punjabi led by 75 pins and Pratima by 70 pins over their nearest competitors.

Delhi’s Dhruv moved into the second spot in the men’s section with an average of 191.66, followed by Tamil Nadu’s Rahul Jain (187.22).

In the women’s division, Tamil Nadu’s Sabeena Saleem and Andhra Pradesh’s Sumiti Nallabantu occupy the second and third slots respectively. — Principal Correspondent
