Youth killed

BERHAMPUR: A youth was killed when two criminals opened fire at a car in front of the Bhanjanagar police station in Ganjam district on Wednesday evening. The deceased was identified as Bipin Bhol (34). He was an associate of Sudur Parida, the son of the former State minister, Raghab Parida. According to police sources, the criminals had targeted Sudur who was also travelling in the car. The whole incident is related to gang war continuing in Aska area. Sudur also has past criminal record and is the prime accused in the Uma Bisoi murder case. The assailants have been identified as Kutuli Nayak and Bikram Mallik, two hardcore criminals of the district.
