Auto driver killed

NEW DELHI: A 38-year-old auto-rickshaw driver was killed and a passenger injured in a road accident at Kalyanpuri here on Thursday.

According to the police, the auto-rickshaw rammed into a stationary truck near the Ghazipur poultry market in the early hours, causing serious injuries to the auto-rickshaw driver, Chhotte Lal, and the passenger, Jitender (19).

The two were taken to Lal Bahadur Hospital where Chhotte Lal succumbed to his injuries.
