An unidentified woman aged about 25 years was found murdered on the Lalaguda railway track close to Railway Recreation Grounds on Thursday. Police suspect the killers strangled her to death somewhere before dumping the body on the railway track and made it look like a suicide by leaving a suicide note in the nearby bushes. According to Secunderabad railway police Inspector S. Rajasekhara Rao, the body was lying in the middle of the track. Except some scratches, no serious wounds were found on the body. This discounted the theory of the woman committing suicide. While searching the area, the police found a pair of footwear and a purse. Among the paper slips found in the purse was a note written in the name of one M. Renuka stating that none was responsible for her death. Marks around her throat suggested that she was strangled to death. Man killed
Narsappa, 45, watchman of Vinayaka Sri Engineering Works factory at Jeedimetla industrial area, was found murdered in his room on Thursday. Hailing from Bidhar, Narsappa came to city for livelihood. Marks on the body suggested that killers strangled him to death. Workers of the factory told the police that they saw the watchman going into the room around 8 p.m. on Wednesday. The next morning, they found the victim dead in the room, the Jeedimetla Inspector A. Shivaramakrishna said.
