HYDERABAD: Rajya Sabha member and Telugu Desam Party spokesman M.V. Mysoora Reddy on Thursday asserted that the party’s flock was together, and there were no differences whatsoever among senior leaders. He was responding to a query at a press conference on whether Polit Bureau member T. Devender Goud had been isolated at Wednesday’s core committee meeting on Telangana at Devupalli in Vizianagaram district. “We are together and there’s no doubt about that. Any decision will be crystallised at the highest levels in the party,” Dr. Reddy said, refusing to be drawn further. He lashed out at Chief Minister Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy for allegedly encouraging ‘unbridled corruption’ in the State. “Be it the Chief Minister or his office, his relatives or friends, they need to be disciplined, controlled and serve as a model for others.” Referring to the tenders finalised for digging and extraction of barytes at Mangampeta near Railway Kodur of Kadapa district, Dr. Reddy alleged that when the company that quoted the lowest bid in the tenders that were opened in March withdrew, fresh tenders were called for instead of finalising the tender by the second lowest bidder. He alleged that the first tender was cancelled and the fresh one called, only to help a company belonging to those close to the Chief Minister.
