Indians perform creditably
CHENNAI: The Indians performed creditably on the first day of the Bareh International Regatta championship, conducted by Bahrain Maritime Sports Association, on Wednesday. All the seven Indian sailors were within the top 15 positions among 31 competitors.
Hussain Bhavnagarvala leads the charts on day one with five points.
In Race 1, Indians were third, fourth, ninth and in Race 2, five Indian sailors were in the top ten in the first, third, fifth, seventh and ninth positions and in Race 3, Indians took positions one, two, eight and nine.
