Deputy Commissioner takes charge

KOLAR: B. Shivappa took charge as the Deputy Commissioner of Kolar on Friday from zilla panchayat chief executive officer F.R. Jaamdar, who was discharging the duties of the Deputy Commissioner.

Priority would be given to streamlining the administration and tackling the drinking water scarcity in the district, Mr Shivappa told presspersons after assuming office.
