Rains hit trains

NEW DELHI: Due to heavy rains, several trains were cancelled or diverted from the Capital on Friday.
The cancelled trains included the New Delhi-Puri Express, New Delhi-Puri Neelanchal Express and New Delhi-Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Orissa Sampark Kranti Express.
The Hardwar-Puri-Hardwar Kalinga Utkal Express was cancelled between Bilaspur and Puri.
The trains scheduled to pass through the affected section were diverted to run on alternative routes. The New Delhi-Puri-New Delhi Purushottam Express and the New Delhi-Bhubaneshwar Rajdhani were diverted to run via Cuttack-Angul-Sambalpur-Jharsuguda-Tatanagar-Chandel.
