Capt. Amrinder Singh CHANDIGARH: The Punjab Vigilance Bureau on Friday registered a case of alleged disproportionate assets against former Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, his son and three government officials. Vigilance BureauVigilance Bureau sources here said that besides the former Chief Minister, his son Raninder Singh and three government officials have been booked by the Patiala Vigilance Bureau for amassing wealth allegedly disproportionate to their known sources of income during Capt. Amarinder Singh’s tenure as Chief Minister. The case pertains to allotment of major mega projects during Capt. Amarinder Singh’s tenure as Chief Minister and his ownership in companies at Bahadurgarh (Haryana) and Gurgaon (Haryana). Media adviserThe Bureau also mentioned in the case that Capt. Singh’s then media adviser B. I. S. Chahal’s role in the case would also be probed. Capt. Singh had already got bail in another case registered against him last year by the Vigilance Bureau pertaining to the multi-crore Ludhiana City Centre scandal. - PTI
