Loan melas in Kurnool next month

KURNOOL: Minister for Civil Supplies Kasu Krishna Reddy has said special officers would be posted in every mandal to issue debt-relief certificates to farmers under loan waiver scheme between July 1 and 7.

The Minister conducted a meeting on loan waiver scheme here on Friday. MP S.P.Y. Reddy, Mayor S. Raghurami Reddy, M.A. Gafoor, Katasani Rambhupal Reddy, Kotla Sujathamma, M. Sikhamani, Challa Ramakrishna Reddy, all MLAs, T. Srinivasulu, MLC, attended the meeting.

The Minister said loan melas would be conducted between July 8 and 15 to give publicity to the scheme.
