Free surgery for kids

CHENNAI: Around 200 children with congenital heart defects in the State will undergo free surgery in the next 12 months at Lifeline Multi-speciality Hospital, under a corporate social responsibility initiative to address highly-skilled-surgery needs of the poor.

Around 4,000 children are born every year with heart defects in Chennai alone.
