This Day That Age
The new East Pakistan Ministry was sworn in on June 20. It consists of Mr. Abu Hossain Sarkar of the Krishak Sramik Party as Chief Minister, and two others. The swearing-in ceremony was delayed by about an hour because Mr. Mahmud Ali, General Secretary, East Pakistan National Awami Party and Sheik Mujibar Rahman, General Secretary, East Pakistan Awami League, both of whom are members of the Provincial Assembly, signed a document on behalf of their respective parties signifying their intentions to work unitedly in the parliamentary sphere.
