Traders to agitate for CBI probe in suicide case

Kurukshetra: Traders here would launch an agitation if the Haryana government does not order a CBI probe into the alleged “mass suicide” by nine members of businessman Mam Chand’s family within a fortnight. The agitation would include a bandh and the blockade of the GT Road, president of Shri Vaish Aggarwal Mahasammelan Gopal Sharan Garg said here on Friday.

He said there had been no progress in the case despite an announcement by Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on April 1 that a CBI inquiry would be instituted in 15 days. — PTI
