Delhi boys in final

Kapurthala: Delhi boys defeated Uttar Pradesh 75-59 in the semifinals of the 35th National sub-junior basketball championship at the Sainik School courts here on Friday.

It was an impressive effort by the Delhi team that had trailed 32-36 at halftime, but fought hard in the last quarter after having enjoyed a two-point lead at 52-50 at the end of three quarters.

In the girls section, Chhattisgarh defeated Jharkhand 52-23 in the semifinals.
