Bomb scare at metro station

NEW DELHI: A phone call saying a bomb had been planted at the underground Chawri Bazar metro railway station here on Friday turned out to be a hoax. Following the call, entry to the station was stopped and a joint inspection of the station and the track was carried out by officers of the Central Industrial Security Force and the Delhi police. Train services were suspended for 29 minutes to check the track. However, nothing was found and the call was declared a hoax.
