A peep into Delhi’s ethos

New Delhi: Chief Minister, Sheila Dikshit, released midweek a new book, “Capital Vignettes — A peep into Delhi’s Etho’s”, by journalist R.V. Smith at a well-attended function at Ambassador Hotel. Ms. Dikshit said the book would inspire both young and old to know more about Delhi.

The author spoke of his 48-year relationship with the Capital and its quaint spots. The publishers, Kapish G. Mehra of Rupa, requested the Chief Minister to help set up a Delhi Book Mall.

Well-known writer Murad Ali Baig read out interesting extracts from the book and spoke of his childhood years in Delhi.
