Delhi L-G meets Union Minister

NEW DELHI: Lieutenant-Governor Tejendra Khanna called on Union Water Resources Minister Saifuddin Soz on Friday to discuss construction of the Renuka Dam in Himachal Pradesh and other related issues.

The issue of construction of a barrage at Palla across the Yamuna in Delhi was also discussed at the meeting.

The Delhi Government was requested to send a formal note to the Water Resources Ministry on the various matters discussed and Prof. Soz assured the Lieutenant-Governor that the issues would be studied and all possible help extended by his Ministry.
