Auto-rickshaw driver murdered
A 30-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friend at Rajendranagar on Friday afternoon. The victim has been identified as Akber, an auto-rickshaw driver and a residence of M. M. Pahadi.
Inter student commits suicide
An Intermediate student hanged herself at her house at Neredmet on Friday. The police said reasons behind Zeba Anjum’s death were yet to be ascertained.
Woman run over
A housewife died after a lorry hit her at Hayathnagar bus stop on Thursday. E. Vara Laxmi (34), a resident of Sri Sai Colony, was standing on the roadside along with her husband Srinivas when the accident took place. Srinivas, however, escaped with minor injuries, according to the police.
