Babu Jacob to participate in Geneva meet

Thiruvananthapuram: The former Chief Secretary Babu Jacob has been selected to present a research paper at an international conference being organised by the European Association of Development Research and Training Institutions (EADI) in Geneva.

Mr. Jacob’s paper will highlight the reasons behind the failure in ensuring safe drinking water supply and sewerage facilities in urban areas in the State and the country in general. The paper will suggest measures to overcome the hurdles in providing basic amenities to the urban populace.

The conference will be held in Geneva from June 23 to 28.
