Couple killed in road accident

Patna: An ex-army personnel and his wife were killed when their motorcycle dashed against a speeding truck in Deedarganj area of the State Capital here on Saturday, police said.

Deedarganj Station House Officer B P Sinha told reporters here that a retired army personnel Shailendra Kumar (40) was on way to his native village Pachesera in Nalanda with his wife Pramila Devi (35) when he dashed his motorcycle against a truck coming from opposite direction while trying to overtake a tractor in which both were killed on the spot.
