Woman charged with killing children

Amalapuram: A woman consumed pesticide after giving the same to her two children but survived the suicide attempt. Her children however died. According to the police, Eswaramma got married to Nagababu 10 years ago. They had two children – Tulasi, 9, and Siri, 7. Following disputes with her husband, Eswaramma left for her native place Sanapalli. On Friday night, she consumed pesticide and gave the same to her children as well. But, as she found the children alive, Eswaramma allegedly throttled them to death.
