Travel agent granted bail

NEW DELHI: A travel agent arrested in the human trafficking case involving suspended BJP Member of Parliament Babubhai Katara has been granted bail by a court here on the “ground of parity” with the lawmaker whose bail plea was earlier accepted by the Delhi High Court.

“The main accused Babubhai Katara had been released on bail by the High Court. Therefore, on the ground of parity, the present applicant Mohammed Shameem alias Shakeel is admitted to regular bail,” said Additional Sessions Judge Kamini Lau.
