New community kitchen centre opened

NEW DELHI: The sixth centre of “Aap Ki Rasoi” community kitchen for the poor was inaugurated at Shahdara in East Delhi on Saturday. This one is a joint venture of the Delhi Government and Neotia Foundation group of Ambuja Cement.

Among those present at the inauguration of the centre, where Neotia Foundation would provide freshly cooked nutritious food through Bangalore-based NGO Akshay Patra to the poor, homeless and destitute, were local MLA Ram Babu Sharma and Trans Yamuna Development Board chairman Narendra Nath.
