Surprise visit

KOLAR: Usha Vasankar, Director, Health Services and Family Welfare, paid a surprise visit to the Sri Narasimha Raja District Hospital here on Saturday. Though the 400-bed hospital had good infrastructure, it lacked many equipment, she told presspersons.

Measures were being taken to streamline the hospital administration and provide good service to the poor, Ms. Vasankar said. — Staff Correspondent
