‘Maoists have no grip in Godavari districts’

Rajahmundry: DIG of police, Eluru Range, Hasan Raza, on Saturday said that Maoists had no grip in East and West Godavari districts as also in north Andhra districts.

Speaking to newsmen, he, however, admitted that the banned outfit was strong in Chhattisgarh and Orissa.

“The Andhra police are trying to check infiltration from neighbouring States,” he said
