KOTTAYAM: As part of the endeavour to put to practice the decisions of the Kerala Catholic Bishops’ Conference (KCBC) on the controversial contents in the revised school textbooks, Pala diocese head Bishop Joseph Kallarangatt has issued a circular to be read in the churches under his diocese on Sunday. The circular took a serious view of the controversial content and called upon the flock to “come forward to oppose and defeat the onslaught of the philosophy of atheist materialism.” He alleged that the changes in the books were carried out in a covert manner.
