VARANASI: Anjani Srivastav, prime accused in the District Inspector of Schools murder case in Jaunpur, surrendered before a court here on Saturday and was sent to a 14-day judicial custody. Anjani Srivastav, a teacher of Raja Sri Krishna Dutt College, had allegedly shot dead Dinesh Chandra Pandey, the DIOS of Jaunpur district, on May 28. Srivastav had been booked in the murder case along with local BJP leader Sri Prakash Singh and one Jitendra Prajapati. Police had arrested the two co-accused and the court had send them to judicial custody.
