Chennai: Indian sailor Hussain Bhavnagarwala (TNSA) won the gold medal in the Al Bareh International Regatta championship, which concluded at Bahrain on Saturday. All seven sailors from India put up creditable performances in difficult wind conditions and high temperatures. There were four top-10 finishes. Indian sailors’ final positions: 1. Hussain Bhavnagarwala (TNSA), 6. Varun Thakkar (TNSA), 7. Rufus Patrick (TNSA), 10. Shweta Sadanandan (TNSA), 13. Aman Vyas (NSS), 14. Praveen Prabhakar (TNSA), 17. Niveditha Ravivarman (TNSA).
