India 10th

BANGALORE: India finished 10th in the team event of the World junior golf tournament at Toyota City, near Nagoya, Japan.

India’s best three scores for the four rounds tallied up to level par 852. Norway won the championship with a score of 27 under 825, last year’s winner Sweden was runner-up with a total of 24 under 828 and Australia bagged the third place with a score of 21 under 831.

In the individual section, Chikkarangappa Seenappa finished best for India at tied 12th with a score of four under 272.
