TTD event: plea to motorists

BANGALORE: In anticipation of the heavy flow of traffic on Sunday from 4.30 p.m., owing to Sri Srinivasa Kalyanotsava organised by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams at Palace Grounds (Vasanthnagar Entrance).

Around two lakh people are expected to participate in the function. In view of this, a heavy flow of traffic is anticipated near Palace Grounds, Jayamahal Road, Nandidurga Road, Vasanthnagar Main Road, Miller’s Road, Mehkri Circle, Ramana Maharshi Road and T. Chowdiah Road. The Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-East), in a release, has requested the public to use alternative routes. The release said that those travelling towards Airport have been asked to make use of routes via Ring Road.
