Partially-burnt body found

JOLARPET: The body of a 30-year old man was found in partially-burnt state at a burial ground in Idaya Nagar area coming under the Paschal panchayat on Sunday.

According to the police, the identity of man is yet to be established.

They said that the person was stabbed to death and his neck had been strangled using a nylon wire.

The body had been dragged for a half a km to the burial ground.

A sum of Rs.700 was found on the victim, the police said.
