‘Hold BBMP polls’

BANGALORE: The former Bangalore Mayor P.R. Ramesh on Saturday demanded that the Government hold elections to the Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike at the earliest. Addressing presspersons here, Mr. Ramesh alleged that the administration of the BBMP has come to a standstill, while urging the Government to take a decision at the earliest regarding property tax collection, which is a main source of income for the BBMP. — Staff Reporter
