NEW DELHI: Wicket-keeper Varun Kumar hammered a fluent 119 with 11 fours and two sixes to help Winsom Club to a 73-run victory over Ashoka Club in the DDCA Hot Weather cricket tournament at the St. Stephen’s College ground here on Sunday. In another match at the Ferozeshah Kotla ground, a five-wicket haul by Parvesh Chikara fashioned a 137-run victory for Food Corporation of India (FCI) over Bank of Baroda. The scores: FCI 229 for eight in 40 overs (Vishwas Bhalla 42) beat Bank of Baroda 92 in 25.2 overs (Parvesh Chikara five for 38). Winsom CC 244 for four in 40 overs (Varun Kumar 119, Nimit Saini 58, Rohit Jhanjhariya 40) beat Ashoka CC 171 in 37.4 overs.
