CUTTACK: In view of the monsoon, the Health Department of the Cuttack Municipal Corporation (CMC) is now geared up to meet the challenges ahead. The civic body health officer Niranjan Padhy has said that the municipality is aware of the grave situation ahead. The monsoon brings it with a lot of water and air-borne diseases and the civic body is always found wanted to meet the challenges like diarrhoea and dysentery. “We are going to disinfect as many as 12,000 wells in the city in different phases. Similarly, four mobile health teams will be doing rounds taking care of the patients suffering from various diseases,” says the official.
