Reception for Mar Thoma Metropolitan

Thiruvananthapuram: Joseph Mar Thoma, Metropolitan of the Mar Thoma Church, was accorded a reception by the Mar Thoma Church Educational Society here on Sunday. Addressing the gathering, the Metropolitan recalled the sacrifices and hard work of the pioneers who started educational institutions. He called on society to keep up the commitment, uphold principles and face challenges.

Vice-president of the society P.A. Thomas; Chaplain Isaac P. Johnson; secretary M.D. Philoman; Principal Achamma Zachariah; and head boy of the St. Thomas school A.K. Ninu spoke.

Teachers, staff and students of the St. Thomas educational institutions, Mukkolackal were present.
