CPI(ML) demand

KOCHI: The Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) has demanded that the proposed hike in bus fares be abandoned. In a statement, the party said the maximum extra expense being incurred by a bus on account of the fuel price hike would be Rs. 300. The proposed hike in bus fare would result in a profit of over Rs 1,500 as profit. —Staff Reporter
