12 students leave for Japan

CHENNAI: As many as 12 students representing different schools in Tamil Nadu left for Japan on Sunday to participate in the Japan-East Asia Network of Exchange for Students and Youths programme. According to a senior official of the School Education Department, the students were from government and private schools in districts such as Ramanathapuram, Chennai, Cuddalore, Tiruvannamalai, Karur, Sivagangai, Thiruvallur, Kancheepuram and Vellore.
