136 police recruits quit

Jammu/Patna: A group of 136 recruits of the Bihar Military Police has quit from two BSF training centres in J&K after an instructor allegedly attempted to “sexually” harass one of them, prompting the Bihar government to order a probe.

However, the BSF, which has filed a missing report with the police, denied the allegation and said the recruitshad left as they were unable to withstand the tough training course. The Bihar police despatched the commandant of the Bihar Military Police (6), Ramnarayan Singh, to Udhampur to investigate. — PTI
