PUDUCHERRY: The Pondicherry State Meter Readers’ Association in the Public Works Department on Monday decided to launch a series of agitations from June 27 to July 4 to highlight their demands, including implementation of Assured Career Progression scheme and fill 25 vacancies of meter readers. In the first phase, the meter readers would observe a stay-in-strike on June 27, a release said.
