SIRSI: As many as 407 students of Uttara Kannada district who scored more than 90 per cent marks in the SSLC and the PUC examinations this year were felicitated at Idagunji Vinayaka Temple in Honnavar taluk on Sunday. Bhatkal MLA J.D. Naik, Kumta MLA Dinkar Shetty, Haliyal MLA Sunil Hegde, Superintendent of Police N. Shivaprasad and Block Education Officer Vasantibai, who participated in the programme held under the auspices of Vinayakadev Trust, spoke. Temple trustee G.G. Sabhahit welcomed the gathering. Nilakant Yaji compered the programme.
