BBMP suspends accused teacher

Bangalore: The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has suspended C. Shivakumaraiah, assistant teacher, BBMP High School, Cottonpet, following his arrest on the charge of cheating job aspirants.

Shivakumaraiah was recently arrested by the Central Crime Branch police for collecting money from youths after assuring them of jobs in government service. He is due to retire on June 30. — Staff Reporter
